The Importance of Using Heritage in Urban Regeneration
MD, Andy Buckley, had the opportunity to give a presentation to the Sunderland Business Improvement District (BID) team last week on The Reuse of Heritage in Modern Development.
The presentation was well received with Sharon Appleby (CE of Sunderland BID) thanking Andy for a presentation that generated lots of great debate, given the interesting Q&A session afterwards.
Heritage and its re-use is becoming an increasingly important topic, with a range of economic, social and environmental benefits associated with the retention and repurposing of the existing building stock.
