Kelsey Graham, Heritage Consultant

BA (Hons) History & Archaeology, MA Archaeology, Practitioner (PCIfA) Chartered Institute for Archaeologists

Kelsey joined AB Heritage in October 2023 as an Assistant Heritage Consultant and was promoted to Heritage Consultant in January 2025, reflecting her growing expertise in archaeology and heritage planning. She holds a BA (Hons) in History and Archaeology and an MA in Archaeology from the University of Newcastle, giving her a strong academic foundation in the historic environment.

Kelsey is experienced in preparing a wide range of professional reports, including Heritage Statements, Archaeological Desk-Based Assessments, and Written Schemes of Investigation. Her work supports clients in navigating the planning process, assessing heritage significance, and ensuring potential impacts on historic assets are fully understood and responsibly managed.

She regularly liaises with Local Planning Authorities, Historic England, and other stakeholders to provide clear, practical advice that balances heritage protection with sustainable development goals.

Outside of work, Kelsey spends most of her time outdoors, exploring the Northumberland countryside with her horse. When not at the stables, she can often be found wandering the ruins of a historic site, lost in a fantasy novel, or queueing for her next favourite gig.
