AB Heritage Celebrates 15 Years of Trading!
From a humble but not unusual start for many businesses, around the kitchen table, AB Heritage is celebrating turning 15 this month
That’s 15 years’ of riding the waves of economic upheaval, political disruption, and the Covid pandemic (complete with lockdowns and associated crash / reopening of the global economy). Our team have dealt with a lot and pushed on through. We have grown the team, then downsized, grown again, and even saw our staff locked in their houses! It has been an eventful ride at times.
However, there have been many, MANY highlights along the way: building a fantastic team; helping a huge number of our clients gain the planning they needed to deliver their dreams; winning industry awards; gaining peer recognition from the Chartered Institute for Archaeology and the Institute of Historic Building Conservation; regularly becoming trusted suppliers on nationally important infrastructure schemes; and even welcoming the next generation of heritage consultants born to several of the team! This journey has been reinforced by the glowing praise we regularly receive from our clients for our professional service and dedicated client care, as evidenced by our Excellent Trustpilot rating.
Our team of nine highly qualified consultants each hold degrees in heritage or archaeology – including four with Master’s degrees and one with a PhD. This solid foundation is further strengthened by almost 130 years of combined on-the-job experience, with a strong expertise across both disciplines of archaeology and built heritage.
Over the past 15 years, we have successfully delivered around 2,400 projects, ranging from single dwellings through to heritage input on major infrastructure schemes. We help our clients manage their Historic Environment responsibilities across all sectors, including road / rail, residential and energy, to name a few. Our extensive project portfolio stands as a testament to our unwavering commitment to meeting our clients’ needs with precision and professionalism.
