Heritage Consultant

(Remote Worker: South East England or Midlands)

Due to an expanding workload, AB Heritage Limited is looking to employ a further Heritage Consultant.

The main focus of this role will be around the production of archaeological and historic buildings reports, including Heritage Statements, Archaeological Desk-Based Assessments, Cultural Heritage Environmental Statements and Historic Building Recording Surveys.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated team player with a proven record in commercial heritage consultancy and excellent communication skills.

This is a home-based position, with the requirement to attend our head office in South Shields a few times a year. Candidates must be located within the South East or Midlands region of England.

The role would be full-time (37.5 hours per week), but consideration is given to those requiring 30 hours per week. Some travel in the UK and occasional working away from home will be required. The successful applicant must have a full UK driving licence and membership with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA), or equivalent.

Salary is open to negotiation and commensurate with experience, starting from £25.5k and upward (pro-rata).
