Growth Plans for Newcastle, where our Head office is based

The Built Environment Networking event held in Newcastle on January 8th, set out the major plans and challenges for development and regeneration for the region.

Daniel Dodds, Principal Heritage Consultant attended the event on behalf of AB Heritage, representing our northern office and project team. He said "It’s a truly exciting period for the region with plans for new infrastructure, a focus on major brownfield regeneration and more city/town centre regeneration. AB Heritage is looking to support works through working with clients to manage historic environment project risk." Dan's vox-pop can be seen below

The Built Environment Networking events draw experts from the forefront regional development and Government to share their insider knowledge with the audience and to discuss important development pipeline opportunities. The events are always well supported by delegates and the organisers say that networking is an important element of these mini conferences.

MD of AB Heritage Andy Buckley commented, "AB Heritage will be programme partner for 4 Built Environment Networking events this year, including 2 further events in the North East region: Tees Valley in March and Newcastle in July. We will be programme partner for the Birmingham Growth Plans conference in September, and to support our new Devon office, located in Exeter, we will be sponsoring the Plymouth Growth Plans event in December. We hope to see as many of you as possible at these events and have the opportunity to help with your heritage works."
