Assistant / Heritage Consultant(s)

Due to an expanding workload AB Heritage Limited is looking to employ Assistant / Heritage Consultant(s) to work from Jarrow (South Tyneside) offices.

Your role will involve the production of a suite of historic environment documents, including Historic Environment Desk Based Assessment, Heritage Statements and Historic Building Recording. You will also design and manage a range of intrusive archaeological works ranging from small scale evaluations, through to large multi-phase archaeological mitigation projects.

You will be working in a client-facing environment so excellent communication skills are essential. You will be expected to manage your own workload and to identify potential leads and to bring in new work and clients as a matter of course.

Continuing training will be provided but preference for this role will be given to applicants who have some previous experience with one or more of the above forms of work. 

The position(s) offered are full-time (37.5 hours a week) and will involve travel / work away from home for periods of time on occasion. The successful applicant must have a full UK driving licence and membership with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA), or equivalent.

Benefits Package Includes:

Salary of £20,250 to £25,250 depending on experience
